A few years ago I had the honor of being a part of the homecoming court at the parade. While I was a bit disappointed at first for not winning, I still had so much fun being royalty for a day. At one point, a little girl came up to me and wanted to take a picture with the “princess” and I thought I was going to cry. So adorable!
